Searching for customer orders directly from the POS screen ensures you can quickly locate bookings without needing a QR code.

There are two methods to find an order:

  1. Seat Chart Search – Fastest for session-specific orders

  2. Find Order (All Orders) – Comprehensive site-wide search

Method 1: Search Using the Seat Chart (Fastest)

  1. From the POS screen, locate the Seat Chart widget:

    • Represented by a green line or arrow that fills as seats are sold.

  2. Click on the Seat Chart to view all orders for the selected session.

  3. Identify the customer’s order by:

    • Scanning the order list on the left-hand panel

    • Typing the customer’s name in the search box if multiple orders are listed

  4. Select the order to bring it up on the POS for payment, reprint, or amendment.

Method 2: Search All Site Orders (Comprehensive)

  1. From the POS screen, select Find Order (or Search Orders, depending on your layout).

  2. This method searches all orders at the site, not just the current session.

  3. Use this method if:

    • The customer is unsure of the session

    • The booking was made for a future or different showing

    • The QR code is unavailable and the Seat Chart does not display the booking

Tips for Staff

  • Use Seat Chart first for speed—ideal during busy sessions.

  • Use Find Order if the booking is not visible or if it may belong to another session.

  • Encourage customers to bring their QR code for the fastest lookup.
