Creating and publishing your cinema’s schedule for the week is quick and flexible using Indy Admin’s Scheduling Tool. This tool lets you plan, copy, adjust, and publish films across multiple days and screens.

📍 Where to Find It

Go to:

Indy Admin → Settings → Programming → Booking Weeks

(Also accessible via: Operations → Programming → Booking Weeks)

📅 How to Build a Weekly Schedule

1. Select the Week

Choose the week you want to schedule (e.g. February 9). You’ll see poster cases (placeholder rows) where films can be slotted.

2. Drop in Titles

  • Drag films into slots from the Title Selection panel.

  • You can assign main features and extras (e.g. a kids' film on Saturday only).

  • Save as you go.

3. Manual Layout Toggle

Switch to Manual Layout — this makes it easier to see and adjust the schedule visually.

🎬 Scheduling Shows

  • Use the Schedule tab to drag and drop movies into specific times and screens.

  • To edit a show: click on it, move it, nudge timing, change screens, or edit details like seat map or privacy.

  • You can copy schedules:

    • From one day to the next (Right-click → “Copy Prior Day”)

    • Between any days (Drag to select → Right-click → Copy/Paste)

📆 Week-at-a-Glance

Use Day All to see the full week view.

Publishing:

  • Publish All: Pushes all scheduled shows for the week to your POS and website.

  • Publish by Day or Show: Un/publish individual days or shows as needed.

  • Shows with sold tickets will be locked (🔒). Use Override Lock to edit them.

🔍 Useful Tools

  • Audit > Start Times: Check where and when a specific film (e.g. Dune) is playing.

  • Audit > Resources: See AI-based staffing predictions (avoid dark red zones).

  • Hover over a show for: Title, start/end time, planning element, price card, predicted and actual sales.

🛠 Tips & Tricks

  • Locked Shows: If tickets are sold, unlock via Override Lock before editing.

  • Can’t Delete a Show? Just unpublish it and move it off-screen—this won’t show up on your website.

  • Color Modes & Views: Customize layout by screen, planning element, or status (Planned, Published).

✅ Summary

The Weekly Scheduling Tool helps you build a clean, clear, and flexible schedule—whether you’re planning a full slate, adjusting times, or responding to last-minute changes.
