Modifiers

Modifiers let you offer customisation options for concession items, such as toppings, extras, or substitutions. These modifiers can be grouped into Modifier Sets and used across multiple products, both in-venue and online.

🔧 How to Manage Modifiers in Indy Admin

📍 Where to Find It

Navigate to:

IndyAdmin > Settings > Concessions > Modifiers

🛠️ Creating a Modifier

Click "Create Modifier"

Fill in the following fields:

Name – e.g. “Extra Cheese”

Image – Optional visual to display

Description – Short explanation of the modifier

Price – Leave blank for no charge, or add an upcharge amount

Available Online – Tick if customers should see this online

Assign to Modifier Set – Choose an existing set (optional)

(Optional) Track Stock

Navigate to the Inventory tab

Enable Track Stock to manage inventory levels for this modifier

You’ll then be able to make stock adjustments directly

🍔 Example Use Case

If you're building a hamburger menu item:

Create modifiers like “Lettuce,” “Tomato,” “Bacon,” and “Cheese”

Use a Modifier Set called “Burger Toppings”

Apply the set to the Hamburger item in your POS or online menu
