Price Cards are a key building block in IndyAdmin that group together one or more ticket types for a specific screening, event, or plan element. They determine what tickets are available, how much they cost, and who can buy them (e.g. adult, child, member).
Price cards can be assigned to:
Individual showings
Entire plan elements
Event cinema content
Custom or one-off screenings
📝 Think of price cards as contextual pricing bundles. While ticket types define what’s possible, price cards determine what’s offered for a particular performance.
🧰 Prerequisites
Before creating a price card, ensure that Ticket Types are already set up.
Go to: Settings → Site → Ticket Types
(See the “Ticket Types” article if needed)
➕ How to Create a Price Card
Go to Settings → Site → Price Cards
Click + Add Price Card
Enter a name (e.g. Event Cinema, Royal Opera House Pricing)
Click Create
🎫 Adding Ticket Types to a Price Card
Once your price card is created:
Click Add Item
Choose:
Ticket Type (e.g. Event Cinema, Adult, Child)
(Optional) Package Type, if applicable
If needed, override the default ticket price:
Click Edit
Enter a custom price (e.g. £16 for Event Cinema Adult)
Repeat to add additional ticket types (e.g. Senior, Child) with custom pricing
(Optional) Add a Showing Badge to visually tag this pricing group in the POS or online listings
(Optional) Set a maximum number of tickets per order per showing
Click Save
✅ Example:
You can create a price card with:
Adult → £16
Senior → £15
Child → £12
Limit: 5 tickets per transaction
📝 You can either create one-off ticket types for specific pricing (e.g. Event Cinema Adult) or reuse standard ticket types and override the price within the price card. Both approaches are supported.
📍 Where Price Cards Are Used
1. Booking Weeks – Individual Showings
Go to Programming → Booking Weeks
Click into a showing (e.g. Royal Opera House)
Under Pricing, assign your new price card (e.g. Event Cinema)
2. Plan Elements
Go to Programming → Plan Elements
Select a plan element (e.g. Event Cinema)
Under Overrides, assign the relevant price card
📝 Internal Note: Plan Element-level price cards help automate pricing across weekly templates. These can still be overridden per performance in Booking Weeks.
✏️ Editing a Price Card
You can edit an existing price card to:
Add/remove ticket types
Change ticket pricing
Set or update the maximum ticket order limit
Add or remove showing badges
Go to Settings → Price Cards → Edit
✅ Example Workflow:
A standard adult ticket is £8, but you override it to £16 for Event Cinema in the price card — without changing the default ticket setup.
