Circuit Settings in Indy Admin allow you to manage top-level preferences that apply across your entire cinema circuit—whether you operate one venue or multiple. These foundational settings are typically configured during onboarding but can be reviewed or adjusted at any time.

🔑 Key Settings Explained

🎟️ Circuit Identity

  • Circuit Name: The public name for your cinema or chain.

  • Account Owner Contact Email & Phone: The main point of contact for INDY communications.

📧 Email CCs

  • CC on Box Office Reports (Visible to Studio): Useful for film bookers or ops managers.

  • BCC on Reports (Hidden from Studio): Great for internal oversight.

📅 Week Start Day

  • Defaults:

    • Friday (UK, US)

    • Thursday (Australia, NZ)

    • Customizable for other territories.

🎁 Rewards & Badging

  • Rewards Currency Name: Define your loyalty unit (e.g., “Points”, “Credits”).

  • Reserved Seating Badge: Display a badge if your venue offers reserved seating.

💱 Regional Setup

  • Currency & Country Code: Set automatically during onboarding.

  • Additional Languages: Spanish translations supported (where configured).

🧳 Traveling Cinema Toggle

  • Use with caution: Applies identical settings across all sites—primarily for touring setups, not fixed-location cinemas.

🧑 Your INDY Account Manager

  • Display of your assigned account manager’s name, email, and contact number.


🧍 Membership Configuration

📝 Sign-Up Info Collection

For all new customer account sign-ups:

  • Enable and/or require collection of:

    • Date of Birth

    • User Class

    • Phone Number

    • Address

💳 Membership Terms

  • Toggle options for:

    • Monthly

    • Quarterly

    • Bi-Annual

    • Annual

  • Displayed Rate Period: Choose the primary rate shown on your website (e.g., Monthly or Yearly)

📉 Term-Based Discounts

  • Apply percentage discounts when customers purchase extended terms upfront (e.g., 10% off annual vs. monthly).

🧾 VAT/Tax Settings

  • Define:

    • Whether tax is included or added.

    • Applicable tax types (VAT, GST, etc.)

🔁 Membership Handling Options

  • Allow Pro-Rating: Refund unused term upon early cancellation.

  • Allow Replacing: New membership replaces the old one mid-term.

  • Allow Appending: New membership adds to the current term.

  • Refund Partial Memberships: Optional toggle.

👥 Group Memberships

  • Enable and limit the number of members per account (e.g., families or friends).


🎁 Gift Card Settings

  • Set expiry rules (in months/years or no expiration).

  • Optional prefix/suffix for imported gift cards (useful during POS migrations).


💳 Stripe Configuration

  • Upload your Refund and Cancellation policies for dispute resolution support.


💸 Site Tier Pricing

Ideal for larger circuits:

  • Group cinemas by pricing tier (e.g., Tier A = premium pricing).

  • Set item pricing at the Library level based on tiers.


💰 Fallback Costs (Advanced)

Used when no cost data exists in Library:

  • Fallback Item Cost: Adds 30% markup by default.

  • Fallback Film Terms: Adds 60% by default.

🔐 Auto Logout

  • Set inactivity timer for auto-logout (customisable).

🧾 POS Display Options

  • Toggle whether to:

    • Show item images in the cart

    • Hide movie posters during ticket selection

    • Hide item pricing from POS end-users
