Time Clock Sessions

The Time Clock Sessions section in Indy Admin allows you to track, edit, and approve your team’s shift data. This tool is especially helpful if your cinema uses Indy’s POS-based clock in/out feature for staff, and you need to export hours to your external payroll system.

⏱️ Where to Find It

Navigate to:

Operations → Staff → Time Clock Sessions

👩‍💼 What It Does

View all staff shifts, including currently active sessions

Manually edit, add, or approve time entries

Each time clock record displays:

Staff name

Job type

Session state (Open / Clocked In / Approved)

Start & end time

Duration

🔍 Search & Filter Tools

At the top of the screen, you can:

Set a date range (ideal for weekly/monthly payroll)

Filter by:

All sessions

Only Clocked In

Only Open

Only Approved

Search by employee name

Click “Approve All” to approve every time card in the selected date range

➕ Manual Additions & Edits

Click Add Time Clock Session to create an entry manually

(useful if someone forgot to clock in/out)

Click on a session to:

View & edit details

Adjust start/end times

Change the session state (e.g. to “Approved”)

Set or adjust the hourly rate based on Job Type

(Note: Job Types are created separately and can include default hourly rates)

⚙️ Additional Actions

Use the ellipsis (⋯) at the end of a row to:

Edit session

Delete session

View session history (audit log of changes)

🧠 Pro Tip

Use this section as your central source of truth for payroll prep. Always review open sessions before exporting and use “Approve All” to speed up final approval runs.
