Deployed on Wed 21st May 2025.
You now have greater control over when your box office reporting weeks begin — both at the studio level and per movie.
🛠 What’s New?
1. Set Your Weekly Start Day
In Studio Settings, choose which day of the week your box office week begins (e.g. Saturday, Monday, etc.).
Each reporting week runs for 7 days from your selected start day (e.g. Saturday–Friday).
2. Premiere Flexibility
Optionally extend your first box office week by up to 2 days, to cover early premieres.
Example: If your movie premieres on a Thursday, but your week starts on Saturday, the first reporting week will stretch from Thursday to Friday.
3. Per-Movie Overrides
You can also override the week start setting on individual movies, giving you even more flexibility.
🔒 Safe By Default
Changes only apply to new movies.
Existing movies and reports won’t be affected, to avoid disrupting previously submitted data.
If no reports have been sent yet for a movie, updating the week start date will regenerate box office reports to reflect the new settings.
For movies with existing reports already sent or due:
Changes won’t auto-apply to avoid conflicts with downstream reporting.
You can manually adjust those report dates if needed.
