The External Ticketing Clients section in Indy Admin allows you to configure and manage connections with third-party ticketing vendors such as Fandango and Atom. This integration is most commonly used by cinemas in the US and allows ticket sales and showtimes to be synced to external platforms.
🧭 Where to Find It
Navigate to:
Settings → Site → External Ticketing Clients
🔧 Configuring External Ticketing Clients
Available Clients:
Fandango: Primary US partner. Requires enabling both:
Ticketing
Showtimes
Atom Ticketing: Enable if your cinema uses Atom.
Showtime Analytics: Not a complete integration. Disregard.
Enable a Client:
Click on the client name and toggle “Enabled”
Do not edit Allowed Modules – these are preconfigured and should remain untouched
📑 Ticket Settings
Within the Tickets tab (currently the only active module), you can:
Booking Fees:
Decide whether to charge your booking fees through Fandango or Atom
Dynamic Ticket Pricing:
Toggle on/off
Allows the external partner to set their own pricing for your ticket types
Future Weeks:
Set how many weeks ahead to push showtimes (e.g. 24 weeks ≈ 6 months)
🎟 Selecting Ticket Types to Push
Click Available Ticket Types
Use the drop-down to select ticket types you wish to make available on Fandango/Atom
Alternatively, switch to Exclude Mode to remove only specific ticket types (useful if most are included)
🧠 Key Notes
At this time, only the Tickets tab is functional. Other tabs (Items, Payments & Redemptions, Users) are coming soon.
For any issues, contact your representative at Fandango or Atom and copy Indy Support for assistance.
